Stratus Financial, founded in 2020 by seasoned FAA instructors, offers tailored funding solutions for aspiring pilots, filling the industry’s demand. Working closely with flight schools and investors, Stratus simplifies operations and supports students on their path to becoming professional pilots. Beyond financing, Stratus envisions a future where aviation enthusiasts thrive and make a difference.

Must have a bank account in the United States to apply at Stratus.
How long for loan approval?
- Approval is within 1 business day and typically fund loans within 2-3 weeks, depending on how quickly you respond.
Are there any prerequisites to apply for a loan?
- The Loan Application Form is all that’s needed to apply for a loan. Once you have filled it out, Stratus will determine if the information you provided would require you to have a co-borrower to qualify.
How will the funds be transferred?
- Stratus Financial pays your choice of school directly so you do not have to worry about lack of funds to continue training.

Proof of sufficient income to repay or must have a co-borrower.
- Must have a good credit history.
How long for loan approval?
- Approval is within 1 business day if the application is sent via the flight school.
How will the funds be transferred?
- Flight Training Finance pays your choice of school directly upon both parties (applicant and flight school) signing the contract.
