Piper Arrow in Los Angeles

The Piper Arrow is a single-engine complex training aircraft with retractable gears that is the perfect option for both personal and flight training use. It is equipped with tricycle landing gear and also includes a steerable nose wheel and two main wheels. It is certified in the normal and utility category. Although it is not designed for aerobatic flight, some maneuvers are permitted as per the aircraft’s POH. The aircraft is equipped for day VFR and may be equipped for night VFR and/or IFR.

The Garmin GNS 530/430 combination is a common dual-GPS avionics suite for an IFR-certified airplane, A single 430 or 530 functions as a communications radio (COM), a VOR/ILS/GS receiver (NAV), and a moving-map GPS.

The Academy is authorized in Europe by the Civil Aviation Authority as an EASA Approved Training Organization and in the USA by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Many of our instructors are highly qualified current or former airline pilots.

Flying Academy’s fleet consists of over 42 aircraft spread throughout the United States of America and Europe, with three bases established in Miami and Los Angeles and three more in the Czech Republic and Austria, respectively.

The Cessna 172 RG with its retractable gear is faster, more aerodynamic than other models, and capable of reaching up to 130 KIAS. Its constant-speed prop allows the engine to run at a slower RPM, resulting in a quieter flight.

The Piper Warrior is a single-engine low-wing, fixed-gear, four-seater airplane. Provides better clearance between the wingtips and the ground, the dihedral angle, and great stability in the roll axis.
