FAA Flight Instructor Courses
Pass on your knowledge and build flight time as a professional. Train for your CFI and CFII ratings under FAA Part 141 standards.
Overview
Become a professional instructor and add instrument-instruction privileges. Our Part 141 program integrates on-site ground school, lesson plan development, and right-seat flight training with stage checks to prepare you for the FOI, CFI, and CFII tests.
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
The CFI (Airplane Single Engine) rating authorizes you to teach VFR primary and commercial students. It is the first step in your instructing career.
Theoretical instruction is conducted simultaneously with flight training. Students can choose between group classes or individual one-to-one classes.
- FOI: Human factors & learning process
- Aeronautical knowledge for teaching
- Lesson plan development & standardization
- Endorsements, IACRA & record-keeping
- Spin awareness & stall/spin teaching
Develop right-seat proficiency: brief, demonstrate, and evaluate all maneuvers to ACS standards.
- Right-seat takeoffs/landings & slips
- Performance maneuver demonstrations
- Emergency procedures & risk management
- Spin training/endorsement
Instrument Instructor (CFII)
The CFII (Instrument Airplane) rating adds the privilege to teach instrument students under IFR. It builds on the CFI to develop instrument-instruction expertise aligned with the ACS.
Focus on IFR regulations and teaching techniques for instrument students.

- Instrument navigation (VOR, GPS, ILS)
- Approach plate briefing & decision making
- Right-seat instrument teaching techniques
