You can complete the skill test in Portugal. However:
- Because your licence must be issued based on original training documents, the issuance process may take longer if you remain in Portugal.
- If you are able to travel, it is usually smoother and faster to complete the skill test in Prague, where the Authority handling your licence issuance is based.
Either way, we will assist you through the entire process.
You have two options:
Option 1 — Keep your current medical authority: You may request that the same Authority under which your medical was issued also issues your pilot licence. However, each CAA may have additional requirements—you must confirm directly with them.
Option 2 — Transfer your medical to the Czech CAA: You can transfer your medical records to the Czech Authority. Important: Medical transfers take time, so we recommend initiating this early.
There are medical centers in Lisbon, but pricing and waiting times vary. Availability must be confirmed directly with the clinic. If needed, our team will assist in checking options upon request.
Yes — if you do not have your ICAO English proficiency or Radiotelephony (RT) licence, we can support you in obtaining them. The exact process depends on which Authority you want your licence issued under.
