Training Summary
- 0-1500 hours training program is designed for future pilots with no current/prior flight experience.
- The training begins with accelerated PPL (A) to CPL(A) and further to IFR(A), MEL(A), and Flight Instructor ratings under FAA regulations.
- Flying Academy prioritizes our own graduates for Flight Instructor positions, therefore, upon course completion with us, you can continue your journey toward your career.
- Additional 1300 hours of flight experience within 2 years as a Flight Instructor (Pilot-in-Command time) with Flying Academy, totaling up to 1500 hours.
- Partnership with Frontier Airlines offering cadet training opportunities and simultaneous completion of Flight Instructor portion.
- Upon reaching 1500 flight hours, sponsorship for type-rating and JOC courses are funded by Frontier Airlines to prepare cadets for the airline cockpit.

Course Structure
- Start with FAA Private Pilot License (PPL)
- Duration – approx. 3 months
- Part 141 – total time 35 flight hours
- Part 61 – total time 40 flight hours
- Proceed to FAA Instrument Rating (IFR)
- Duration – approx. 3 months
- Part 141 – total time 35 dual flight hours
- Part 61 – total time 15 dual flight hours + 50 hours cross-country as PIC
- Followed by FAA Multi-Engine Rating (MEL)
- Duration – approx. 1 month
- Total time 10 hours min. dual flight
- Next is the FAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Duration – approx. 3 months
- Part 141 – min. 55 hours dual flight
- Part 61 – min. 20 hours dual flight
- Complete FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) /Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII)
- Duration – approx. 1 month
- CFI -10 hours of flight time with an instructor
- CFII – 5 hours of flight time with an instructor
- Once reaching 500 flight hours, join Frontier Airline Cadet Training while still employed with Flying Academy, additionally earning $500 USD for up to 750 flight hours
- After reaching 750 flight hours, earn up to $1000 USD for the remaining duration of training and employment (up to 1500 flight hours)
Ground Training
During the Zero to 1500 hours, the trainee will complete theoretical courses for PPL(A), IR(A), MEP(A), ATPL theory & FI(A). For the FI rating, the trainee will undergo dedicated preparation to meet the standards of quality of Flying Academy for Flight Instructors. Additionally, you will be able to attend the theoretical training from the comfort of your home with Flying Academy Worldwide Online Campus.
THEORETICAL EXAMINATION:
The applicant has to demonstrate theoretical knowledge at the FAA-approved office in the form of written tests.
Practical Exams
The practical skill exams in the airplane with the examiner can be taken after the successful completion of the written tests.
For the 0-1500 hours, there are 6 practical examinations: PPL(A), IR(A), MEP(A) & MEP(A) IR, CPL(A) and FI(A)
The applicant must demonstrate the ability to:
- Operate the airplane within its limitations
- Complete all maneuvers as smooth and as accurate as requested by FAA
- Exercise good judgment and airmanship
- Apply aeronautical knowledge
- Apply the emergency procedures and maintain safe operations
- Maintain control of the airplane at all times

The Accelerated Multi-Engine Rating Program is designed for pilots who want to complete their training in as little time possible and accomplish the training in under one week. Requirements
