Course Overview

The Zero to 1500 hours course is designed for future pilots with no current flight experience. The training starts from accelerated PPL(A) to CPL(A) and continues the IR(A), MEP, and Flight Instructor ratings, under FAA. You will have an additional 1300 hours of experience within 2 years of working as a Flight Instructor (Pilot-in-Command time) with Flying Academy, reaching up to 1500 hours total time, that is not only a crucial milestone for all airlines, but also a turning point for each pilot’s personal flight experience. After which, you will have the opportunity to get a job with our partner, Frontier Airlines!

Accelerated Courses under 0-1500 Program

Accelerated PPL is a fast-track program designed for students who want to complete their training expeditiously. We offer an intense training program for student pilots seeking to train as often as possible and obtain their license in under four weeks. The program includes one-on-one flight training and ground instruction.

The Accelerated IFR Program is for students who want to complete their training expeditiously. We offer an intense training program for pilots seeking to train as often as possible and accomplish the training in under four weeks. The program includes both flight training and ground instruction. 

Obtaining a Commercial Pilot Certificate is essential for those planning a career in aviation. The Accelerated Program is for pilots who want to complete their training expeditiously, train as often as possible and accomplish the training in as little as 3 months. The program includes both flight training and ground instruction.

The Accelerated Multi-Engine Rating Program is designed for pilots who want to complete their training in as little time possible and accomplish the training in under one week. Multi-Engine Rating will allow you to fly faster and more complex aircraft, along with making you a better, more confident pilot with better understanding of airplane aerodynamics.

Ground Training

During the Zero to 1500 hours, the trainee will complete theoretical courses for PPL(A), IR(A), MEP(A), ATPL theory & FI(A). For the FI rating, the trainee will undergo dedicated preparation to meet the standards of quality of Flying Academy for Flight Instructors. Additionally, you will be able to attend the theoretical training from the comfort of your home with Flying Academy Worldwide Online Campus. 

 

THEORETICAL EXAMINATION:

The applicant has to demonstrate theoretical knowledge at the FAA-approved office in the form of written tests.

Practical Exams

The practical skill exams in the airplane with the examiner can be taken after the successful completion of the written tests.
For the 0-1500 hours, there are 6 practical examinations: PPL(A), IR(A), MEP(A) & MEP(A) IR, CPL(A) and FI(A)
The applicant must demonstrate the ability to:

  • Operate the airplane within its limitations
  • Complete all maneuvers as smooth and as accurate as requested by FAA
  • Exercise good judgment and airmanship
  • Apply aeronautical knowledge
  • Apply the emergency procedures and maintain safe operations
  • Maintain control of the airplane at all times

Partnership With Frontier Airlines

Requirements: 

  • Must be a US citizen or must have free access to the US labor market (work permit required).
  • Must be a CPL holder.
  • Must have at least 750 flight hours at the time of application.

Course Curriculum

Requirements

17 years old minimum

The pilot must be at least 17 years of age to be able to get a Commercial Pilot License.

Hold Class 2 Medical Certificate

You need to be physically fit for commercial flying (capable of holding FAA Pilot Medical Certificate Class 2)

To be proficient in the English language

You need to be able to read, write, understand and speak English fluently.
